GETTING STARTED
What is the CareerCanny LMS site, and how is it different from careercanny.com?
This site is your learning hub — it’s where you access and complete your enrolled courses. The main CareerCanny site at careercanny.com is where you’ll find full course descriptions, coaching services, and everything else we offer. Think of this site as your classroom, and careercanny.com as the front door.
Do I need to create an account to browse the courses?
You can browse the course list without an account. However, you’ll need to register and enroll to access any course content. Registration is free and only takes a minute.
How do I create an account?
Click the Log In / Register button in the top navigation and select Create Account. Fill in your name, email address, and a password. Once registered, you can enroll in any available course.
I already have an account — how do I log in?
Click the Log In button in the top right corner of the site, enter your email and password, and you’ll be taken straight to your student dashboard.
COURSES & ENROLLMENT
How do I enroll in a course?
Go to the Courses page, choose the course you want, and click Enroll Now. If there’s a fee, you’ll be taken to the checkout page. Once payment is complete, the course is added to your dashboard and you can start immediately.
How do I use a discount or coupon code?
During checkout, look for the Coupon / Promo Code field on the payment page. Enter your code there before completing your purchase and the discount will be applied automatically.
Can I enroll in more than one course at a time?
Absolutely. You can enroll in as many courses as you like and work through them at your own pace. Each course appears separately in your dashboard.
How long do I have access to a course once I enroll?
Once you enroll, you have ongoing access to that course. You can revisit lessons, re-watch videos, and work through exercises as many times as you need.
Are the courses self-paced?
Yes — all CareerCanny courses are fully self-paced. There are no live sessions, deadlines, or schedules to follow. You learn on your own time, at whatever speed works for you.
What formats are the courses in — video, audio, or text?
It depends on the course. Discover Your Direction and Science vs. Engineering are primarily video-based. The Power of the Flip is audio-based. Build Your Career by Design combines both. Each course page lists the format and total duration before you enroll.
ACCESSING YOUR COURSES
Where do I go to continue a course I've already started?
Log in and go to your Dashboard — you’ll see all your enrolled courses with a Continue button that takes you right back to where you left off.
The course I enrolled in isn't showing in my dashboard. What do I do?
First, make sure you’re logged in with the same account you used to enroll. If the course still isn’t showing, check your email for a purchase confirmation. If you have one but still can’t see the course, contact us and we’ll sort it out quickly.
Can I access my courses on my phone or tablet?
Yes — the site is fully mobile-responsive. You can work through your courses on any device without needing an app.
Will I get a certificate when I finish a course?
Yes, courses that include a completion certificate will automatically generate one once you’ve completed all the lessons. You can download it directly from your dashboard.
PAYMENTS & BILLING
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure checkout. Payment processing is handled through Stripe with encryption — your payment details are never stored on our site.
What is your refund policy?
If you have a question about refunds, please contact us directly through the Contact page and include your order details. We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis and aim to respond within 1–2 business days.
I was charged but didn't receive access to the course. What should I do?
Please contact us right away through the Contact page with your name, email address, and order confirmation number. We’ll resolve it for you as quickly as possible.
TECHNICAL ISSUES
What payment methods do you accept?
On the login page, click Forgot Password and enter the email address associated with your account. You’ll receive a reset link by email within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it.
What is your refund policy?
Try these steps in order: (1) Refresh the page, (2) Clear your browser cache, (3) Try a different browser — Chrome and Firefox work best, (4) Check your internet connection. If none of those work, contact us and let us know which course and lesson you’re having trouble with.
I was charged but didn't receive access to the course. What should I do?
Make sure you’re clicking the Mark Complete button at the end of each lesson before moving on — LearnDash tracks progress based on these completions. If your progress resets unexpectedly, reach out and we’ll look into it.
COACHING & OTHER SERVICES
Do you offer 1-on-1 coaching in addition to the courses?
